Editorial Policy

This page explains how DriveQ's News & Reviews section is produced, including where AI assistance is used and how we handle external sources.

1. Source material

DriveQ monitors established Indian automotive news publications for candidate stories. We do not copy or republish a source's article text — only the headline and a short factual summary are used as source material.

2. AI-assisted writing

Passenger-car news articles on DriveQ that carry a full article body are originally written with AI assistance, based only on a structured set of extracted facts (brand, model, price, event type). Every AI-assisted article passes automated checks before publication: it must relate to a real passenger car, must not closely overlap with the source headline/excerpt, must meet a minimum length, and must include a real hero image. We do not present AI-assisted articles as being written entirely by a human journalist.

3. Corrections and updates

Every article displays its original publish date and, where the article has since been edited, an updated date. We do not silently rewrite the factual substance of a published article.

4. Scope

DriveQ's News section focuses on passenger cars — SUVs, sedans, hatchbacks, MPVs and passenger EVs. Motorcycles, scooters, trucks, buses, tractors and other commercial vehicles are outside our editorial scope.
