How We Calculate On-Road Price

DriveQ's on-road price estimate is calculated the same way everywhere on the site — the model page calculator and every city on-road-price page share one calculation function, so the numbers you see always match.

1. What's included

On-road price = ex-showroom price + RTO road tax + first-year comprehensive insurance + a flat handling/logistics fee. Each of these varies by city — road tax and insurance are calculated as a percentage of the ex-showroom price using city-specific rates, and the handling fee is a flat per-city amount.

2. What's not included

Extended warranty, accessories, optional insurance add-ons, and any dealer-specific offers or discounts are not included in this estimate — actual on-road price at a dealership can vary. Use the figure on DriveQ as a starting estimate, then confirm the final number with your chosen dealer.

3. Ex-showroom price source

Ex-showroom prices come from DriveQ's catalog of variant-level pricing, kept up to date by our catalog team. When a price changes, every page that shows it (model page, city on-road-price pages, comparisons) reflects the update.
